Nomination Instructions for the Field of Dreams - Undergraduates

Nominations for the 2014 Field of Dreams Conference are closed. Thank you to everyone who sent in nominations!

To nominate students for the 2014 Field of Dreams Conference we are requesting that you please submit the Alliance Scholar nomination form.

• You may nominate up to three students on each form.
• Please make sure you give us the contact information for each student.
• Please make sure you provide your contact information.

We are hoping that this will make the process easier for you, more efficient for us, and that we are not likely to miss any of the students that have been nominated.

What happens after we receive your student nominations?

• If your student is not already an Alliance Scholar, your nomination for them to attend the Field of Dreams Conference will also be your nomination for them to become an Alliance Scholar.  We will send the student a letter welcoming them as new Alliance Scholars.
• Each Alliance Scholar that has been nominated will be contacted and requested to fill out and submit the Field of Dreams Application Form.
• Each Alliance Scholar must upload their transcript, resume and a personal statement (of why they would like to attend the Field of Dreams Conference).  This information must be submitted before a student can be considered by the Selection Committee.
• The Field of Dreams Selection Committee will review all scholar applications.
• We will contact those scholars who have been selected to attend the Field of Dreams Conference.

This year scholars that are actively participating in the Facilitated Graduate Applications Process (F-GAP), will have first priority for attendance to the conference.  These students have already been contacted and a separate application form has been sent to them, so there is no need for you to nominate these students.
