Participate in Knowledge Gap Survey

Tim McEldowney, a postdoctoral researcher at West Virginia University is the Principal
Investigator of an NSF Project: Undergraduate Knowledge of the Mathematics Graduate School
Application Process (Knowledge-GAP). He is conducting a survey of undergraduate students
(or recently graduated students) as part of this project. The primary goal of the Knowledge-GAP
project is to increase the number of underrepresented minority students pursuing doctoral
degrees in the mathematical sciences by identifying potential barriers to their ability to apply to
graduate school. We encourage those in the target group to participate here.
