NIH Summer Institute in Biostatistics at NCSU

The NIH Summer Institute in Biostatistics (SIBS), sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), offers an extensive 6 to 7 week summer training course on biostatistics and data science.

The course will include relevant examples from data collected in studies of prevention and treatment of infectious, immune-mediated, and chronic diseases. The program will introduce college students and recent graduates to the principles, methodologies, uses, and applications of statistical methods in biomedical and clinical research.
