Department of Statistics North Carolina State University Information Sessions
The Department of Statistics at NC State will host a virtual information session, open to any interested, on Thursday, November 17th from 2-3 pm EST.
Statistics is a field with limitless potential to change the world — and our graduates are ready to do just that. Our large department has faculty with expertise in almost any area of statistics which allows our students to work in areas that excite them. We have competitive master’s programs (both in-person and online) and doctoral programs in which students study and conduct research alongside award-winning faculty to learn the skills they need to be tomorrow’s leading statisticians.
In addition to a rigorous education, our department encourages a welcoming community where diverse students from all over the world learn, work, and play together.
The meeting will start with a short presentation by the Directors of our in-person and online graduate programs, then we’ll have a few current students discuss their experiences, and we’ll take any questions along the way. We look forward to meeting you!
